Tranforming Leadership

I’ve just returned from a short but meaningful trip in Singapore at INSEAD Business School, for the second out of three modules in the Hitachi Global Acceleration Program for Loeadership (GAP-L) hosted by Hitachi Academy.

It’s a pleasure and my honor to be selected among thousand of other colleagues to join this program with an obviously objective is to elevate and transform myself to become a future leader, connecting with fellow leaders from other companies under Hitachi Group from Mobility/Rail, Energy, Connective Industry and Digital from diverse of functional.

With the share from SSIB leaders, Chief Growth Officer of Hitachi APAC and through out many topics driven by economic and organization professors about the Core Value of Hitachi (with Harmony – Wa, Sincerity – Makato, Pioneering Spirit – Kaitakusha-seishin), Corporate Strategy, Transformation, Diversity, Sustainability, Social Innovation, Customer Centricity, Business Model Corporate Venture, Leading Change, etc. with a great approach for cross BU collaboration, through the reflection from theory to our organization, allow us to think and plan the next action for the future of Hitachi, for sustainability and for social.

For me, the journey doesn’t end by the time I complete the program. Instead, I can see it as a door to open up other opportunities for me, in which I’m struggling to find out for a long time, to unlock the new mindset, learn how to speak the new language, new strategic way and framework of thinking, acting and driving my team, bring benefits to our customers and my company, making it becomes a win-win-win game. And I enjoy day to day improvements.

Like an introvert, networking often consumes my energy, but that’s my choice. Writing, reading, spending time with family help me recharge and stay grounded.
